Mary is passionate about helping people learn to enjoy a more enriched and meaningful life, as they work toward experiencing freedom from the things that hold them back. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, and a graduate of the University of Texas and Hope International University.
Mary has worked for more than 40 years with Cru, an international, non-profit Christian organization. In this capacity, she has lived and worked throughout New Zealand, Eastern Europe, Russia, and the United States. She enjoys speaking internationally, teaching and performing theatrical improv, and hiking with her husband.
Mary has authored four books: Breaking Free: Journey with God Through Illness to Health; Retrain Your Brain for Joy; Rest for Your Soul; and Beyond: Create a Life You Love After 50, 60, 70, & More. She and her husband John have three grown children and two grandchildren, and they currently call Austin, Texas their home.
